Spot No. 3 Zensuiji Temple
The main hall of Zensuiji Temple is a designated National Treasure, and one of the three Konan Sanzan temples. It is a popular spot in the fall, when wonderful crimson leaves can be seen. The interior also features no less than 15 Buddha statues, including representative pieces from the Tempyo period (710 – 794) and the Heian period (794 – 1185), all of which are more than worth making the trip to see them.

Spot No. 6 Jorakuji Temple
Jorakuji Temple is one the three mountains of Konan that are famous for their leaves in fall. The temple treasure is a nationally designated Important Cultural Property, and the temple is also home to a variety of other old cultural properties that take the form of buildings, sculptures, paintings and other works of art. Admission to the temple to pray requires a prior appointment so please inquire before your visit.
