Tagaya is a long standing “itokiri mochi” (“thread cut rice cake”) store standing in front of the Taga Taisha Shrine. The itokiri mochi are traditionally Japanese confections, made using 100% domestically grown rice enwrapping homemade bean jam with a perfect balance of sweetness for the perfect flavor and texture.
